By ticking the box next to the Terms and Conditions on our Site you unconditionally accept these Terms and Conditions. These Terms and Conditions may be modified at any time by Brightmond at its sole discretion, without prior notice.

PROCESSING OF PERSONAL INFORMATION 

When shopping on the Website, we will store some of your personal information in order to carry out your purchase. You have the right to request access to your data, and if any information is incorrect, you can have it changed or removed. Brightmond does not store or handle any banking or credit card information. We may also use cookies, e.g. to enhance your experience of the Website.

 

PRICES, FEES AND PAYMENT

After placing an order, we will send a confirmation of your purchase to your email address. We recommend that you save the confirmation to facilitate any contact with our customer support in relation to your purchase. Your transaction and payment details are directly handled by Adyen, our payment service provider, with secure encryption, and under strict banking standards. Your credit card details are sent directly to the bank and cannot be read or accessed by any parties other than your bank – Including Brightmond.

Brightmond accepts all major credit cards as well as various other local debit cards and invoicing options. All available payment options for your area will be displayed at the checkout page once you have entered the country of delivery.

Brightmond is not responsible for any discrepancies in currency values or conversation rates that your bank or credit card company may use when purchasing from our website. Should you have questions concerning this, please contact your bank or credit card company.

All prices set in EU on brightmond.com are including VAT in accordance with applicable legislation. If an order is placed from a country outside of the EU, the prices are excluded VAT. Orders shipped to countries outside of the EU may be subject to local VAT, import duties and/or taxes, which are levied once your package reaches your delivery address. You will be responsible for the payment of such import duties and taxes. The VAT will be based on your total order value, regardless of your order being subject to a campaign. It should be noted that Brightmond has no control over these charges and, since these charges are different in different countries, Brightmond cannot predict the amount. Please contact your local customs and/or tax office for more information.

 

GOVERNING LAW AND JURISDICTION

These terms and your use of the www.brightmond.com website are governed by Swedish law. To the extent permitted by law, Swedish courts shall have exclusive jurisdiction of any dispute arising from these terms of use and your use of the website, subject to Brightmond’s right to prosecute a user at his/her place of residence.

 

WARRANTY

Our products are made according to the high-quality standards of Brightmond and are CE , ROHS and FCC certified. Nonetheless, your product is covered by our limited warranty against any defects in manufacturing limited to electricety and fitting. The warranty for a Brightmond vanity mirror  is valid for a period of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase. The Brightmond warranty for a Brightmond Mirror Case is valid for a period of  twelve(12) months. Any defects on the vanity mirrors (but not damages caused by wear) arising during this time as a result of normal use will either be repaired or replaced at the expense of Brightmond. If purchasing from e-commerce platforms such as eBay and Groupon or an unauthorized third party vendor on Amazon, there is a risk of receiving a product that is used or defective. Brightmond will not honor any warranty claims for products purchased from an any other retailer than Brightmond.

The product must have been purchased from Brightmond.com. The consumer must show proof of purchase from the online store. The vanity mirror must be returned in its original package. If the customer does not have the original package, the customer will be charged for a new package (15 EUR) plus shipping (8 EUR).

If you experience any damage to your product that is considered to be covered by our warranty, you can contact our customer service team by submitting a request in our contact form to receive further help. We recommend that you send ut the claim as promptly as possible after you noticed the damage or defect. To ease and expedite the process, please include the following info when contacting us:

– Order number (If your product is a gift you will need to contact the person who purchased it for you to receive the proof of purchase).

– Pictures of the product and the damage.

– Receipt.

The Brighmond warranty does not cover:

  • Defects and damages due to loss, theft, fire, water, or a natural disaster.
  • Failure or damage caused by improper use, carelessness (knocks, dents, crushing, broken mirrorglass, etc.), or accidents.
  • Failure or damage caused by unjustifiable repair or modification.
  • Damages due to hanging metal such as jewelry or other things on the bulbs. (Vanity Mirrors).

Failure to follow care or user instructions will void this warrenty.

 

USER-GENERATED CONTENT

Our Website may contain user-generated content. Brightmond claims no rights in or to such material or content and takes no legal responsibility for such material or content. In case you suspect a copyright infringement, or infringement of any other right, or for any other reason feel offended by the content published on the Website, please contact our customer support.

 

FORCE MAJEURE

Brightmond shall not be liable for any damages, loss or penalties caused by the non-performance in accordance with these Terms due to circumstances out of its control including but not limited to in case of war, warlike events, civil war, revolution, rebellion, government action, strike, lockout, blockade, natural catastrophes or similar event, technical problems, failure of electrical / telecommunications / data communications or other communications, as well as defects or delays in services from subcontractors due to circumstances stated herein. If such circumstances occur, we will try to inform you.

 

CHANGES IN TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Brightmond reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes to these Terms will be posted on the Website. Changes apply from the time they are set out on the Website and are able for you to review.

 

RETURNS AND EXCHANGES

We offer free returns and exchanges on our products in Sweden. If you want to return or exchange a product outside of Sweden you as a costumer will pay for the return shipment. For delivery adress and shipping cost please check our FAQ. You have the right to return products purchased directly from brightmond.com within 14 days of receiving the item(s) for a full refund. The product(s) must be unused – in original packaging with labels and protective stickers intact – and still in the same, new condition as when received. Products purchased directly from brightmond.com can be returned to our warehouse using a shipping label, which we will provide on your requirement. If your return is approved, a full refund will be issued for your order. Once a refund is issued in our system, you can expect it to be visible in your account within 5-10 business days.

Note: Returns and exchanges only apply for unused merchandise.

For returns and exchanges please contact us first on support@brightmond.com. Kindly note that we do not offer a direct exchange service. Returns and exchanges may take 2-3 weeks to process.

In the event you are unsatisfied with your purchase and would like to receive a different product, you are most welcome to send back your purchase for a full refund. We will refund your product(s) for its full value to the account originally used when making your purchase. To ensure that you receive the desired product as fast as possible, we kindly ask you to make a new purchase at your own convenience. We are unable to process returns, exchanges, or store credit for any sale items with more than -25% off.

If you are worried that an item you received may be damaged or defective, please email support@brightmond.com with your order number and a short description of the issue. Please also include photos so we may better assist you.

We are only able to provide pre-paid postnord labels within Sweden. Should you choose to forgo our free postnord return service in Sweden and use a different carrier at your own expense, our Concierge Team can assist you with the proper return address. We are not able to reimburse return shipping costs.

To expedite your return or exchange process, please email us as soon as you can with your order #, the item you wish to return or exchange, photos and feedback regarding why the item is not living up to your expectations. We value all customer feedback.

 

SHIPPING

We aim to ensure that you receive your order as quickly as possible. Once your order is successfully submitted, the warehouse then processes your order the following business day. It is then picked, packed, and dispatched. Once it is on its way to you, you will receive an email notification containing your tracking information.

Kindly note that orders placed after 12:00 am (GMT) are not guaranteed to be shipped the same day. Packages are not transported nor delivered on weekends and local public holidays. While we always strive to have our orders delivered on time, we acknowledge that the unforeseeable is inevitable. External factors outside of Brightmond’s and its courier’s control, such as extreme weather conditions and technical failures, are bound to occasionally cause delays, and we ask for your patience and understanding when they do. Additionally, please note that during promotional campaigns, delivery times may be longer than usual.

Once an order is submitted, we are unable to change the ordered products or the quantity selected. In this situation, we suggest you contact us and cancel the incorrect order. Thereafter, we recommend you place a new order for your desired item(s) on our website at your own convenience.

For any gift purchases made in the month of December, we will gladly prolong the 14 days return period with 14 extra days. This policy only applies for unused merchandise

If your package is lost in transit, we will do everything we possibly can to assist you. However, we are not responsible for packages once proof of delivery is generated.
